Reloshare: Alias Hotels

“We transformed a free WiFi login at the largest U.S. hotel owners’ conference into a personalized AI-powered video pitch for SafeStays, generating 3,000 new hotels - and Cannes Lions recognition.”

SafeStays helps domestic abuse survivors secure hotel rooms under an alias, bypassing the usual ID and credit card requirements. To spread awareness at the biggest hotel owners’ gathering, we set up a free Wi-Fi network that mimicked typical public connections found in airports or hotels. Before users could join, our platform captured their name and company, then instantly produced a custom video that spoke to them directly - thanks to synthesized voice and dynamic footage. The message asked for their partnership with ReloShare, the company behind SafeStays. Within seconds, each attendee witnessed a powerful, personalized appeal on behalf of survivors in need. The campaign not only garnered 3,000 new hotels signing up (averaging 14 bookings per night) but also earned acclaim at Cannes Lions, showcasing the impact of innovative, empathy-driven technology.
